An independent property underwriting consultant with forty six years of technical property underwriting, brokerage, loss control and audit experience. My broad market knowledge allows me to effectively audit property insurers in any market segment including HPR, National Accounts, Middle Market, Personal Lines and Excess and Surplus lines. 

​2007-present: Founder and Owner, Lighthouse Consulting, LLC. 

I formed Lighthouse in 2007 to provide Bermuda reinsurers with high quality, in-depth property underwriting audits. In 2015 I began to provide Expert Witness services. 

2006-2007: Vice President, Global Property, Arch Insurance Group. 

Responsible for underwriting strategy and profitability on the Global property book. Led a team of underwriters in five US and three European offices.

2003-2005: Risk Executive, Royal and SunAlliance, Charlotte, NC. 

Responsible for Operational Risk Management including Risk Assessments.

1993-2003: Vice President, Property Practice Leader, Royal and SunAlliance, Charlotte, NC. 

Executive responsibility for underwriting the Commercial Lines portfolio including Global, Large Accounts, and Middle Market.

1986-1993: Vice President, Property Department Manager, Johnson and Higgins, Philadelphia, PA. 

Senior property broker and department manager.

1977-1986: Industrial Risk Insurers, Baltimore, London, Philadelphia. 

Highly Protected Risk (HPR) loss control and underwriting.
